20/11/2008 : If you've played either of the first two Raving Rabbids games for Wii, you've already got a solid idea of how Ubisoft's latest in the franchise, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, is going to play out. There are minigames, and plenty of them. You'll dance like a fool to bad '80s music, fling some poor animal across an empty field, or shoot some plungers at an unsuspecting Preview de Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party sur Wii, chez Nintendojo.
20/11/2008 : George Lucas -- or just "George" as the boys at LucasArts call the master of the Star Wars universe -- wants a game based on his beloved franchise to follow a few rules. It has to be full of adventure, heavy on gameplay, dabbled in comedy, and spritzed with drama. So when the developers of the next Star Wars megahit put their heads together, they came up with a game about... Wookies.

20/11/2008 : A colorless world is like a wet blanket. It’s no fun. The evil I.N.K.T. Corporation lives off this dreary setting, draining Chroma City from all shades of green, pink, yellow, and even periwinkle. Luckily, players can assume the role of de Blob and put some multihued spunk back onto the town.

20/11/2008 : When the Wii remote was introduced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2006, many gamers instantly dreamed of the best way to utilize the controller. People saw the Wii remote as the perfect fit for a lightsaber fighting game, first-person shooter and even a wand for Harry Potter. 20/11/2008 : Batman may be a cultural icon with thousands of comic books, several TV series and some of the highest grossing movies ever under his utility belt, but he hasn’t been so lucky in the video game arena. While there have been Batman games since the days of the NES, few if any have been worthy of note. Traveller’s Tales is looking to change all of that with LEGO Batman, the newest entry in their surprise hit series of LEGO platformers.

20/11/2008 : Last week we went to EA headquarters to see and test drive a number of new Sims games coming to Wii and DS. The first one we'll cover, SimCity Creator, actually came out this week, but before our official review we wanted to provide an overview of the games' features, which attempt to provide the complex mechanics any true SimCity game should have within a casual gamer-friendly wrapper.

20/11/2008 : Tales of Symphonia hit GameCube in 2004 to much fanfare, as it was the first full-length RPG on GameCube that wasn’t a Dreamcast port. 20/11/2008 : Animals and pets have always been a part of the Sims world, but never so exclusively the focus of the game as in SimAnimals, a new title completely devoid of human Sims and instead populated by over 30 species of animals, ranging from owls and ducks to foxes and bears. The footprints of civilized humanity are apparent in the game's stages-- a dilapidated manor and an overgrown orchard are two of the playable areas-- but, in a deliberate design decision to Preview de SimAnimals sur Wii, chez Nintendojo.
20/11/2008 : Last year's MySims surprised some franchise fans with its uber-cute visual overhaul of the famous Sims characters and its Animal Crossing-like focus on resource gathering and town-building. The game also did quite well for EA: the DS version ended up being the #1 third party game sold in Europe in 2007 and the #3 third party title in the US, behind only the ubiquitous, Disney-powered Hannah Preview de MySims Kingdom sur Wii, chez Nintendojo.
20/11/2008 : Last year, Wii owners were left out in the cold on the Call of Duty series, as Modern Warfare skipped the platform. Developer Treyarch is looking to rectify that oversight with the upcoming Wii release of Call of Duty: World at War. The question is, will it compare to the addictive online multiplayer or gripping narrative of the PS3/Xbox 360 versions? We recently loaded our Wii remotes and found that, thankfully, Treyarch has such plans directly in their sights.

20/11/2008 : Extreme sports meet Spider-Man. Both like to fly through the air, perform acrobatics and occasionally get the tar knocked out of them. This odd combination of styles serves as the foundation of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Developer Treyarch, along with PS3/Xbox 360 developer Shaba Games, hope to marry movement and combat to deliver the ultimate Spider-Man game.

20/11/2008 : Last year, Guitar Hero III hit Wii like a drunken Gallagher brother and quickly became one of the system’s most successful games. Activision has had continued success on Wii thanks to Guitar Hero: Aerosmith to say nothing of the success of Guitar Hero: On Tour for DS. These were merely small steps, though, as Red Octane, Neversoft and Vicarious Visions were preparing one giant leap for rocker-kind.

19/11/2008 : Fighting ghosts by taking photos of them in the Fatal Frame games was pretty novel, we’ll admit. But Cursed Mountain may very well take the cake for the most unorthodox method of ghostbusting in the horror game pantheon. When battling crowds of undead spirits in Cursed Mountain, you do what any god-fearing person would do to make the scary ghosts go away: you pray.
