■ 24/09/08 - Opoona Opoona, a cute little alien character from the planet of Tizia, goes on a holiday with his parents and siblings. They soon find themselves in a bit of a pickle when their spaceship is attacked. Opoona and his siblings are separated in a very Kalel-being-savedTest de Opoona sur Wii, chez LoadedInc.
■ 16/09/08 - Opoona If it had been released a few years ago, Opoona would have been one of those Japanese PlayStation 2 titles nobody ever noticed on the release list - one of those quirky, average games that no-one really knew what to make of. Thanks to the dearth of Wii RPGs, though, it might have better luckTest de Opoona sur Wii, chez EuroGamer.
■ 21/05/08 - Opoona Ever since the passing of SNES, Nintendo consoles have proven to be painfully slow starters when it comes to RPGs. The first full year of GameCube, for example, was a bare one in this respect, with nary more than a few mediocre titles to sate the hardcore faithful.
■ 19/04/08 - Opoona While the Wii has thus far excelled in certain areas (party games, first-party Nintendo games), there are definitely certain genres that haven’t had such a strong showing on the system — case in point, RPGs. In fact, outside of action-RPGs (Super Paper Mario), strategy-RPGs (Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn) and the occasional RPG-descended wagglefest (Dragon Quest Swords), the Wii has seen an utter lack of the genre.
■ 04/04/08 - Opoona It seems to be the more traditional a game is, the more difficult it is to concoct a sensible control scheme for it using the Wii Remote. Opoona realizes this and ignores the Wiimote completely; the Nunchuk is the only controller used to play the game, leaving your other hand free to stuff Cheetos into your maw.
■ 03/04/08 - Opoona If I’m going to get lost this often why can’t it be on some tropical island with Evangeline Lilly? Seriously, your first several hours of Opoona will be spent wandering colorful hallways trying to figure out where you came from and how you should get back. It doesn’t help that the game lacks a proper map system for its mazelike environments.
